Or if you don't like bidding, there are lots of sites in the internet offering extensive selections of private planes and a wealth of accompanying information to help you not get dumbfounded and make the correct purchase.

Both used and new private planes will eat up a lot of dollars. For example, Cessna’s six to eight seaters are being sold for $1.6 million to $3.8 million. A 32-seat jetliner is, therefore, worth more than 10 million.

Of course, the size of your plane and whether it is new or old don't matter anymore; what matters is, with it, you won't have to endure traveling a hellish local plane, not to mention the buckets of envy and admiration you'll get from your neighbors and friends.
